I’ve always been a unique little soul and gone on my own path, and that definitely shows up in how I photograph. I’m a music junkie, tattoo-obsessed cat mom & photographer based in Iowa City, IA. My style is very documentary - which is just a fun way of saying I care about real & authentic interactions over stiffly posed ones.

You don’t need to know what you’re doing when you show up, I promise. I’ll guide you when you need it, and keep things very laid back. I tend to embarrass myself at some point during our time together, but if it gets a good laugh from you, I'm okay with that. Sometimes I might even say something actually funny.

Outside of photography, I’m either hanging out with my besties, thrifting, or cuddled up on my couch with my two kitties, Manchego & Muffin, re-watching all of my favorite TV shows. Music-wise, I’m kind of all over the place. Billie Eilish is my all-time favorite, but I love me some Reneé Rapp, and also randomly switch to indie, folk, or if I'm feeling really crazy, I'll dust off the musical theater kid in me and go full musical mode. Hadestown mostly.

I'm very food motivated (hehe), so you can usually find me snacking on anything peanut butter + chocolate or a good pasta dish. I also love a nice, crispy Diet Coke or Barq's Root Beer. On session or wedding days, I have my emotional support water bottle glued to me, filled with ICE COLD water. Yum.

Lately, I’ve been trying to push myself to be more creative and not overthink everything so much. I love when sessions hit that point where you stop thinking and just start laughing and doing your thing. Those are always my favorite moments.

I'm an Iowa native, but I’m always up for new adventures! No matter where you are, let’s create something special together.

If you’re down to keep things chill, have fun, and not take it all too seriously - I think we’ll get along really well :)
