I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE

Hey there, I’m Maddy, a documentary-style photographer based in Fort Dodge, Iowa. My journey into photography began in 2022. What started as a way to capture the simplicity and beauty in everyday moments quickly turned into a part-time career, one that I absolutely love.

What makes my work—and the experience of working with me—different is my commitment to creating a warm, welcoming environment for every person I photograph. I’m all about making sure you feel comfortable and at ease, no matter who you are. I’ll probably embarrass myself at some point, we’ll laugh, I’ll make some awkward jokes, and we’ll have a blast together—because the best photos happen when you’re not thinking about the camera. And while I might be quiet at times, I’m always focused on capturing the moments that matter most. I see the details that others may miss, and I aim to preserve those moments with authenticity and heart.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can catch me jamming out to Billie Eilish, indulging in way too many Reese’s peanut butter cups, or sipping on a cold Barq's root beer. I'm obsessed with cats, so I'm probably hanging out with my three fur babies—they bring so much joy (and a bit of chaos) into my life, and I wouldn't trade them for anything. Family is everything to me, and I cherish the close-knit bond I have with mine.

I'm an Iowa native, but I’m always up for new adventures! In fact, I’m exploring options to relocate, so keep an eye out for updates! I love to travel, so no matter where you are, let’s create something special together.
